Age of Empires Heaven » Forums » Age of Empires / Rise of Rome / Definitive Edition. I decided yesterday that I was going to try a LAN game on my home network. I have the Gold Edition, and I installed it on both my PC and my sister's. Mine can see the game but not join. I've selected TCP/IP connection and inputted the right IP.
After months of no new LAN tutorial, I am happy to present a new one from the deep depths of obscurity. In past videos, I have gotten complaints.gasp. that I spend maybe a little bit 'too much' time in the introduction talking about 'history', and why we do what we want to do. So here is my question for you guys so I can make better tutorials. Even if I do add in text tutorial here, in the video introduction (within the first 2 minutes or less), do you prefer: 1) Give viewers history of WHY we want to do what we are doing and explain concepts verbally OR 2) Just get straight to the point, no history, no explanations WHY we want to do what we want to do.
Use text of video description to get point across. Which method do you prefer?
In the comments, just say method 1 or method 2, or any other suggestions. People keep on saying that they are tired of listening to 'intro bs' and want to get straight to the point, which I understand and hate at the same time. Help me help you.Links For the Tutorial.
